Wet N' Wild Megalast Lip color《Review & Swatches》

These wet n'wild lipsticks are amazing! In this collection, there are a ton of matte shades to choose from. The shades I picked up were: Cherry Picking (965), Spotlight Red (911D), and Bare It All (902C). I got mine from Rite aid for around $3.

I have always been a fan of wet n' wild because of their crazy soft eyeshadows, but boy did I ditch those eyeshadows for these lipsticks. (I was always a lip junkie.)
There are so many great things to say about these lipsticks. First thing I would mention is how these lipstick are so crazy pigmented. They show true to the swatches. The pigmentation is a 10/10.  I even had trouble removing all of the color with just a makeup wipe, but a trusty oil based remover will get the job done. These lipsticks also wear amazingly well. Just like the name says
It is long lasting and by the end of the day you get these beautiful stained lips that still shows true to the original color you applied.
Another cool thing about these lipsticks, is that they do not do that weird grainy thing in the tube. They apply creamy and set matte on the lips. There no dragging, but be careful with how you fill in your lips because they do stain your skin.
Okay, lets talk about the shades I personally tried.

Cherry Picking (965)- this shade is basically what the name mentions, cherries. The color is like the medium shade of a dark cherry and a red cherry. It has a very strong pinky purple in it so it strays from being a red, but it is deep enough to detatch itself from being your usual pop of berry. It is a very pretty shade and is a great alternative to your berry pinks and classic reds.
Spotlight Red (911D)- this shade is your classic red. It has more of a pinky undertone than an orange. You can't go wrong with this shade because this shade is like a classic red. It is a perfect shade of red and will catch the attention of others.
Bare It All (902C)- this shade is a nice nude. I actually like this color the best out of the three. To me this color is a perfect nude. It is not too brown so it does not blend in with my skintone, and it is not too pink so it doesn't come out as a chalky pink on my lips. It is natural and perfect for everyday.

I would recommend you check out these lipsticks because they are a bang for your buck as well as a possible holy grail. I hope this review helps you out! xoxo

Rimmel lasting finish lipstick by kate (#104 Review and swatches)

Let me just first start out by saying that the packaging for this lipstick it is so classic and chic.
The shade I got from this collection is in #104. Im not sure if it has a actual name, but i don't see it on the packing. I bought mine from rite aid and it was around $7.

The pigmentation of the lipstick is i would say a solid medium. It does show up true to color on the lips.  However, It will look slighty different on another person because of their natural lip color. On me this color shows up to be a standard mauve. The purple element in the mauve shows up a bit better on my lips. The color on my lips shows up pretty true to the swatch below.
The finish of this lipstick is matte. Like most matte lipsticks I find at the drugstore this does have the tendency to have a kind of grainy texture on the actual lipstick. It is no big deal becuase it  suprisingly has a smooth texture on the lips, there is no grainy feeling. Upon application of the lipstick is creamy. After a couple of minutes the lipstick sets to a matte lightweight finish, and the risk of the lipstick transfering reduces

Overall I think this lipstick is one of the more better matte lipsticks in the drugstore. The shade of the lipstick is very different, but it still stays within my comfort zone of neutrals colors. The lasting power on this lips stick is also very nice and throughout the day it wears nicely. I would rate this lipstick an 8/10. I would go back and purchase more from this collection.
Hope this review helped you! xoxo
